Taking Charge

Leadership is a cornerstone of my professional journey, and I thrive in positions that allow me to guide and inspire others. Throughout high school, college, and beyond, I have held leadership roles in several organizations, where I learned that effective leadership is not about controlling every aspect, but rather fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. A true leader empowers their team, trusting in their skills and abilities to bring the vision to life. As I move forward in my career as a BCBA, I will leverage these leadership skills to work closely with RBTs and other professionals, driving positive outcomes and enriching the lives of those we serve.

Health and Wellness Director - Knights Exemplar (IES)

Knights Exemplar is a student-led organization dedicated to creating a supportive community for neurodiverse students, fostering inclusivity and enabling them to experience a fulfilling college life. As the Health and Wellness Director, I organized and facilitated monthly wellness events designed to promote physical activity, mental well-being, and social connection. From volleyball and basketball to yoga sessions, these activities provided students with opportunities to build friendships, stay active, and enhance their overall well-being.

This role was deeply rewarding, as it allowed me to collaborate with an incredible team to ensure that students with mental or physical disabilities could fully engage in the college experience. Seeing their joy and sense of belonging was truly inspiring

UCF Village Mentors Social Media Director

I am in charge of communicating with other team members and creating engaging digital content on our platforms to increase our reach and keep our members updated with new events and fundraisers.

FlowLeaflets Social Media and Medical Outreach Director

With my social media and healthcare background, I was recruited to create content for FlowLeaflets to increase our reach and engage customers to buy our clinical logbooks to raise funds for our global initiatives. We have expanded to colleges across the globe and continue to grow our missions to improve our world's health.

Fashion Society Modeling Chairman

Fashion has been a lifelong passion of mine, and upon arriving at UCF, I eagerly joined the Fashion Society, where I connected with fellow creatives who shared my enthusiasm. Over two years, I actively participated in events and walked in our annual fashion shows. My dedication and leadership led to my appointment as Modeling Chairman, where I took on the responsibility of teaching over a hundred models how to perfect their walks and prepare for the show. In this role, I managed communications with numerous models and attended weekly e-board meetings to discuss events, fundraisers, and financial obligations.

Incorporating the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I developed strong skills in teaching, managing behavior, and creating structured environments that led to positive outcomes. These experiences in leadership, communication, and collaboration align with my work as an ABA professional, where fostering growth and supporting individuals in achieving their goals is at the heart of my practice.

Knighthon Captain - Association of Pre-Nursing Students (APNS)

As Knighthon Captain, I attended monthly meetings to strategize fundraising efforts and collaborate with other registered student organizations to maximize our collective impact. Through my personal fundraising efforts, I raised hundreds of dollars in support of our local children’s hospital and its cancer research initiatives. By effectively communicating with club members and coordinating our fundraising efforts, we were able to contribute to raising over $621,000 for this important cause.

President of Future Medical Professionals of America (F.M.P.A)

I served as President of the Future Medical Professionals Association (F.M.P.A.) at Cooper City High School, where I was responsible for overseeing large-scale communication, organizing fundraising efforts, and leading club meetings. In this role, I coordinated with healthcare professionals and spearheaded local medical initiatives, developing key skills in leadership, collaboration, and community outreach. These experiences not only strengthened my ability to manage and motivate teams but also laid a strong foundation for my work in Applied Behavior Analysis, where effective communication and collaboration with professionals and families are essential to achieving positive outcomes.
