Giving Back

Being an active leader in the community means making a meaningful impact and giving back to those around you. I have had the privilege of contributing to medical initiatives focused on raising funds for heart valve prostheses and infrastructure. Additionally, I am dedicated to supporting my local community through volunteer work at the Loggerhead Marine Life Center and local hospitals, where I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others outside of ABA.

UCF Village Mentor

I had the privilege of providing underprivileged children with access to quality education and community resources, helping to empower them and enrich global communities. In addition to managing our club's social media platforms, I actively contributed to the Village Book Builders network, working to inspire and motivate children around the world. Through these efforts, I was able to support initiatives that fostered learning, growth, and opportunity, making a meaningful impact both locally and internationally.

FlowLeaflets Outreach

I am honored to serve on the founding board of FlowLeaflets, a non-profit organization dedicated to donating 100% of our sales to support heart valve prostheses and infrastructure development in underserved countries. In addition to attending medical conferences to advocate for our cause, I actively contribute to the organization's growth by managing our social media platforms and creating content to expand our reach. Through these efforts, I aim to increase our impact within the medical community and beyond, helping to drive positive change on a global scale.

Education Docent at Loggerhead Marine Life Center

I have accumulated over 150 hours of volunteer service as an Education Docent at the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. In this role, I stayed well-informed on the medical procedures and case reports of our sea turtle patients, enabling me to educate the public on the causes of their injuries and the importance of conservation and compassion in their recovery. I am compassionate for all beings- animals included. Conservation education needs to be well-known to preserve the environment around us.

As a token of my gratitude for all I have learned at LMC, I donated one of my artworks, which continues to be displayed on their walls today.

Volunteer at Memorial Hospital West - Urgent Care

My journey into healthcare volunteering began in my sophomore year of high school when I had the opportunity to volunteer at Memorial Hospital West. During my time there, I worked at the front desk of the Emergency Department, where I gained hands-on experience in patient care and became proficient with the technological systems used for patient check-in. Over more than 100 hours, I developed a deeper understanding of the healthcare field and built meaningful connections with dedicated professionals. This experience not only strengthened my commitment to helping others but also provided me with invaluable skills and insights that continue to influence my career path.
