Where it all began…

Florida Autism Center

My journey in Applied Behavior Analysis began in the summer of 2023 at the Florida Autism Center, where I completed my certifications and earned my license while gaining invaluable real-world experience. Under the mentorship of highly skilled and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Once licensed, I provided direct care to a diverse caseload of clients aged 2 to 10, addressing a wide range of behavioral challenges. During this time, I introduced an art-based intervention during sessions, which offered clients a creative outlet for self-expression while promoting the replacement of problem behaviors with functional alternatives.

This experience not only sharpened my clinical skills but also reinforced my dedication to using innovative, individualized approaches to help clients achieve meaningful progress and reach their full potential.

After transitioning to my second clinic, I broadened my experience by working with a diverse range of clients while continuing to provide direct care under the supervision of my BCBA. I quickly adapted to new team strategies and environments, demonstrating flexibility and efficiency in delivering therapy across multiple clinic locations.

In a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, I thrived as a collaborative professional, offering support to colleagues and ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients. This experience strengthened my ability to work effectively in dynamic environments and further refined my clinical and interpersonal skills.

FoundArt Academy Inc.

Through FoundArt Academy, I had the opportunity to manage my first in-home case, embracing the challenges and rewards of providing care in a home-based setting. I quickly adapted to the unique demands of this environment, focusing on understanding family dynamics, respecting cultural differences, and collecting meaningful data to inform treatment.

By fostering a strong rapport with both the client and their family, I was able to implement effective interventions that led to measurable progress within just a few months. This experience enhanced my ability to deliver personalized care and reinforced the importance of collaboration in achieving meaningful outcomes.

ABA Healthcare LLC

Under the guidance of my exceptional supervisor, Angela Ingrassia Moering, MA, BCBA, LBA, IBA, I had the opportunity to significantly grow within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). During the summer of 2024, I worked with my client Alex, who presented with various behavioral challenges. I used various treatment methods to combat his behaviors and teach him more appropriate ways to behave in the classroom. Through our work together during his summer camp, Alex made significant improvements in both his social and behavioral skills, allowing him to fully enjoy his summer. I developed a strong bond with him, and we achieved remarkable progress over just a few months. His caregivers expressed sincere gratitude for my patience and the positive impact I had on his development. I continue to maintain close contact with both Alex's family and my supervisor, as this field is more than just a career to me—it is my passion.
